earliest successes included the acquisition of several landmark
properties in the burgeoning Palm Beach County metropolitan area. Among
them were 470 Columbia Centre, a seven-building complex that
was renovated and repositioned with Mediterranean-style courtyards
and architectural features, and 400 North Congress Avenue, a
72,000-square-foot corporate headquarters building located along
a key West Palm Beach growth corridor. Both of these properties
were repositioned, renovated and leased within 12 months of acquisition. Today,
the company controls some 300,000 square feet of commercial space
in Florida.
